Sharing the Love of God
Worship & Music Team
The next Worship & Music Team meeting is Sunday, October 30th, following worship service. All are invited to attend Worship & Music Team and to help plan for future worship services.
Building & Property Team
The Building & Property Team will not be meeting in October. (They usually meet at 6:00pm to work on building maintenance and at 7:00pm for the monthly meeting. Come lend a hand next month in caring for our building.)
The next Council meeting is scheduled for Friday, November 11th at 7:30pm. As always, all are welcome to attend council meetings.
3rd Sunday Potluck
Join us after service on November 20th for our monthly 3rd Sunday Potluck. We ask for those with last names A-L to bring a side dish to share and those with last names M-Z to bring a main dish. Members of the Caring Ministry Team will provide dessert. As always, those who help with set-up and clean-up are greatly appreciated!
Digging in the Dirt and Mowing Teams
We need your help with maintaining the church flower beds and grounds this season! Please prayerfully consider being part of the Digging in the Dirt Team, which cares for Epiphany's flower beds and Memorial Garden, or joining a mowing team. If we have enough mowers to make two teams of about six people each, then each team only needs to mow every fourth week. Please see Deb if you have any questions and sign up on the forms in the narthex.
ACTS Food Pantry
Each month we collect non-perishable items for the ACTS Food Pantry. All donations can be placed in the cart in the narthex. Thank you for the donations you give to help those in need throughout Prince William County.
God tells us to “Pray without ceasing.” When we - or those we care about - are hurting, it is natural to call out to God for help. More importantly, He promises to answer those prayers. (“Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you.”) We are all invited to become part of the Epiphany Prayer Chain and/or to send out a prayer request at any time, at email@example.com. If you wish, you can now add a postal or email address to your prayer request. When a postal (street) address is included, a picture postcard will be sent to the recipient of our prayers. When an email address if given, the same message will be emailed to the recipient of our prayers. An address is not required to submit a prayer request. If you would like to see the postcard, talk to Becki or Sharon.
If you need a convenient way to make recurring contributions, we encourage you to check out our electronic Simply Giving options. To set up a recurring giving schedule, visit the "Donate" page. Or if it's easier, complete a paper authorization form and return it to the church office. Thank you for your generosity and support!
Keep on Clipping
Remember to put the newspaper coupons you can't use in the box in the narthex. No need to cut individual coupons; connected strips of several are fine. All types of coupons, including those for household products, are appreciated, as are coupons for fast food and moderate cost restaurants.
Altar Flower Sign-Ups
The list for 2016 altar flowers is posted outside the office. Sign up with your name and reason for giving if you have a specific person or event you would like recognized. Email reminders are sent to those who sign up.
Support Epiphany While Shopping on Amazon
Did you know that you can support Epiphany while shopping through Amazon without paying any extra? To support Epiphany while shopping through Amazon, visit the "Donate" page or click here and make your purchases. The church receives between 4-6% of all sales that originate from our website link without you paying extra.
